Geeked Week

From June 7th to June 11th 2021, the internet got geeked. To drive conversation, build community, and eventize Netflix's genre slate, we created a free, five-day virtual fan event packed with breaking news and exclusive Geeked peeks of upcoming titles like The Sandman, The Witcher, and Umbrella Academy. Designed to be social and community first, the event, hosted by Rahul Kohli and Mari Takahashi, streamed live on social and pointed fans to content on Geeked’s platforms.
This incredible project was a team effort with the Netflix Geeked team, title marketing, PR, comms, and operations teams. We worked with the animation studio PES on all the geeked marketing materials and with Harper and Scott to create the Geeked Week Swag Boxes.
