Geeked Rebrand

Netflix is home to powerful genre content—The Witcher, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy. But the emerging slate is up against older, more established franchises like DC, Marvel, and Star Wars. But those powerful franchises also come with rules, gatekeepers, and toxic communities trying to keep things "they way they've always been." We saw the opportunity to build a future for fandom that is more inclusive, more empowering, and more entertaining for all. Enter Netflix Geeked, the social and editorial home of all things genre at Netflix. 

The cross-functional taskforce on this title included Netflix Editorial and Publishing, Brand, and Title Marketing teams. We also worked with design shop Porto Rocha on the new brand identity.
